Day 6 - Cortina D'Ampezzo, here we come!

On our 6th day of the trip, we are heading to our last stop of the trip - Cortina D'Ampezzo.
We got up early, and had a good breakfast since we had a long drive ahead of us (almost 3 hour drive from Spinea).

Luckily, those 3 hours will pass you by like you were driving 10 minutes - the green fields, the huge mountains and the
landscape in general will make you feel like you're in a movie - all the way from the busy city, to the green valleys and to the snowy mountains.

Finally, we arrived to Cortina D'Ampezzo.  Since Cortina has one of the most popular Ski resorts in the world,
in the off-season its pretty abandoned, but don't let that fact get you down! if you're not skiing / snowboarding,
you can still enjoy the breath-taking view and the clear mountain air.

We parked our car and checked in our hotel - Hotel Natale. We arrived in the early noon, so after we dropped our
luggage in our room, we wore something warmer and headed outside to explore the place.

The streets of Cortina were like a painting - imagine a small town in between enormous hills and mountains.

Although it was only 6 c°, it was also very sunny, and you could see the horizon & mountain tops very clearly.

After we wondered through the streets, we came back to the hotel to refresh and get ready to go out to dinner.
in night-time the temperature reached 1 c°, that's the kind of cold you start to feel in your bones, so be equipped with
your warmest clothes.

After a good dinner that included a fine mushroom risotto, and soup, we returned back to the hotel to celebrate
our two year anniversary together, with  a fine wine we received from the owner of Hotel Alfieri at Sirmione.

What a way to end our last night in Italy!
